We have recently returned from a weekend away in Hartlepool, which began with a visit to Seaton Carew. My husband’s father was from that area and lived there for many years before moving south. My husband has memories of visiting Seaton Carew as a child, for holidays with his parents. Seaton Carew seafront has sadly suffered over the years, and is now very run down.
